Chisel Ma Nizzle is a Victorian Era sewer overflow in Manchester City Centre, it's quite possibly the original Market Street sewer which used to flow straight into the River Irwell. It was intercepted around 1889 with the start of the building of the Main Drainage system, flows were sent down into the newly built B Interceptor with the old outfall retained as a storm overflow.

At some point in the modern era flows down the Market Street sewer would have increased to a point where spills were happening too frequently. A new larger chamber was built upstream to ensure all flows went into the B interceptor and the original sewer bricked up. Nowadays only a small sewer still passes through the overflow chamber.
