The River Wien flows through Vienna in a cutting which for around 2km becomes a large arched culvert. It emerges in Stadtpark with an outfall clad in pillars and towers and is about as fairytale as these things get.

Within is a long walk past various CSOs including the Third Man where if you're really lucky the whole section of culvert gets lit up by large spotlights.

It's quite prone to quickly filling up with water as it did a couple of days before we got there, the torrent looked around 2meters deep.
