A couple of large shafts linked by tunnels to the Eccles Sewage Works then onto an outfall at the Manchester Ship Canal. The system will intercept spills that used to end up in the Salt Eye Brook for storage and treatment or screening and dumping in the larger river.

In the hills above Dovestone Reservoir this culvert was built to divert the water of the Greenfield brook.

Solicitor is a culvert of the Eaves brook that flows through Preston. It's around 900m long and joins with the Savick Book straight after the outfall.
