The Swinnel brook passes under the Haslingden Bypass in a long straight featureless box culvert. It emerges in the yard of a commercial building for a brief stint in the open air before entering the stone infall of Crispy Twains.
Named by Chewy many years ago this culvert is around 200m long and is a sandwich of stone arch either side of concrete box.
