The Tinker brook flows in a roughly northwards direction near Accrington and eventually flows into the Hyndburn Brook.
By Blythe chemicals the brook flows out of a big corrugated oval tunnel. Moving upstream is a split concrete box section with one interesting feature; a ladder leading up to the works.
The last section before the outfall looked like the original culvert, fairly low stone arch.
