This CSO into a small brook provides a screened overflow for the upper part of Heywood's sewers.

The chamber itself was a standard modern affair, there was a further chamber downstream where the sewer entered two small pipes but the air was pretty poor down in the sewer channel.

The brook itself is carried in a stoopy RCP which shrinks after the overflow connection. Not the most interesting of setups but good to see what was down there.
