I had semi lifted a lid with TheVicar some weeks before and we'd looked down the crack at a gantry, after shouting down the echoes confirmed it was something big. We returned later with ideas of getting down into another big CSO tank, after descending a short ladder we found ourselves on a short gantry next to the the overflow pipe to the Croal.
Unfortunately the gantry gave no way to access the rest of the walkways, the tank was half full anyhow with the drone of pumps slowly emptying it back into the adjacent sewer.
